Multiple media reports said that the new Honda Civic e:HEV will be listed at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 26, the biggest highlight of the new car is equipped with a 2.0L hybrid power system, consisting of a 2.0L engine, electric motor and battery pack, with more excellent fuel economy.
The Dongfeng Honda CIVIC e:HEV has passed the Ministry of Public Information declaration. From the document photo, the appearance of the new car is not much different from the fuel version of the Civic, but the power will be changed to a hybrid system consisting of a 2.0L naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine plus electric motor (non-plug-in hybrid).
In terms of appearance, the overall design of the new car continues the fuel version, only to provide two-color body design and different styles of wheels as an option, the new car also adopts a silver rearview mirror, the rear bar exhaust shape changed to black, and in the rear added the “e:HEV” logo.
The dimensions of the new car are 4548/1802/1415 (1420) mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2735 mm, which is the same as the fuel version.
In terms of power, the new car adopts a 2.0L hybrid system, in which the engine has a maximum power of 143 horsepower. Referring to the overseas version, the new car will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of 2.0-liter engine + electric motor, matched with CVT transmission, with a maximum engine output of 105 kW, a combined maximum power of 184 hp and a peak torque of 315 Nm.
Some media predict that the Civic e:HEV model is likely to be sold from about 140,000 yuan.
