Google’s Pixel tablet computer has been rumored for a long time, and now new information shows that Google will only launch the Pro version of the Pixel tablet device, and the latest Tensor G2 chip, Tensor G1 chip version of the low-end model is estimated to have been canceled.
Google Pixel Tablet Pro will be equipped with the same Tensor G2 chip in Pixel 7 / Pro, 2560×1600 resolution screen made by Huaxing Optoelectronics and Richtek RT4539 six-channel LED driver. This is used for the backlighting of the LCD screen, Google Tablet does not use AMOLED panels.
At least one version of the Pixel tablet features Samsung’s 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, as well as side fingerprint recognition (likely embedded in the power button).
Some images of the new Pixel tablet have also been leaked. Support is easy to use as a dock for the smart display, but it’s unclear if it’s included in the box or sold as an optional accessory.
