The foreign auto media Auto Express recently released a report, sharing the road test photos of the Mercedes EQC Mk2 pure electric vehicle.
Note: After the EQC model is launched, it will compete head-on with BMW’s iX 3 and Audi’s upcoming Q6 E-Tron.
EQC is the first mass-produced pure electric model developed by Mercedes. It is positioned as a pioneer and has made certain compromises in terms of mileage and efficiency. However, the EQC model has been recognized by consumers after its launch.
The 2025 EQC will use Mercedes’ new MMA platform, which can accommodate larger batteries and smarter electric engines than the current EVA platform.
There will be a choice of single-motor and dual-motor powertrains on the MMA models, with a greater emphasis on vertical integration of components such as batteries to help keep costs down and tailor them more precisely to the requirements of the EQC.
According to the exposed road test photos, the 2025 EQC adopts a shorter hood and a more compact overall appearance.
