Since the completion of the mega-factory in Shanghai, China, the capacity problem that almost killed Tesla has been completely solved, while Musk’s U.S. counterparts are facing the problem of capacity enhancement, Lucid delivered only 679 electric cars in Q2, which was madly mocked by Musk – not as many babies as I had.
Lucid reported Q2 earnings with revenue of $97.34 million, well below the average analyst estimate of $147.5 million; adjusted EBITDA loss of $414.1 million, above the average analyst estimate of a loss of $410.7 million.
In addition, Lucid lowered its 2022 production forecast to 6,000 to 7,000 vehicles, compared to the production guidance range of 12,000 to 14,000 vehicles earlier this year, the second time this year the company has lowered its production target.
What’s more, the company delivered only 679 electric cars in Q2, a figure so unjustified that Musk had to make a big move to taunt – I’ve had more babies than they’ve produced cars.
Of course, Musk is not likely to have more than 600 children in Q2, in fact, he has been divorced 3 times and now has a total of 9 children, with a company executive secretly remaining twins at the end of last year.
Musk said he had more children for the sake of humanity, believing that human civilization must maintain positive population growth if it wants to grow, especially toward the vastness of space.
He also said that he, as the father of many children, is relatively rare in a population of good economic conditions and that many people around him either have only one child or no children.
