Today, MSI announced that the MAG B660M MORTAR MAX WIFI DDR4 Mortar motherboard, announced at Computex Taipei 2022, will be available on MSI Mall on July 20 at a price yet to be announced.
In order to support PCI-E 5.0, this motherboard has been upgraded to a server-grade PCB with the same 2oz copper foil incorporated to significantly improve electrical performance. In addition, this motherboard supports Wi-Fi 6E, while the older DDR4 version of the Mortar motherboard comes with Wi-Fi 6 NIC.
For overclocking, the MSI MAG B660M MORTAR MAX WIFI DDR4 motherboard incorporates a new overclocking engine that enables overclocking of the CPU.
MSI says that the MAG B660M MORTAR MAX WIFI DDR4 fills some minor regrets of MSI’s already listed B660 motherboard, and also integrates an overclocking engine, making it much more playable and even replacing the Z690M (MATX) motherboard to some extent.
