According to MSI news, MSI has received some 600/700 series motherboard users reflecting, after installing the Windows 11 KB5029351 preview version of the update, the problem of the “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR” error message.
Microsoft and MSI are currently investigating the cause of this issue, and MSI is advising users to hold off on updating KB5029351 Preview until the results are known.
MSI says that if you run into this issue, after rebooting, the system may automatically remove KB5029351 and return Windows to its normal state. If KB5029351 is not automatically removed, please return the BIOS to a previous version before removing KB5029351 from Windows.
The MSI 600 and 700 series motherboards that are experiencing the blue screen issue are mainly those models that have had their BIOS updated to support Core 14 generation processors.
