MSI in early August this year for its AM5 motherboard launched AGESA 1.0.0.7c BIOS firmware, support for higher frequency memory. Now, MSI has released a list of memory frequencies supported by each motherboard.

As shown above, MSI’s two flagship models, the X670E God of War and God of Ultra, support the highest DDR5-8000 memory sticks available on the market, while the B650E supports up to DDR5-7800, and the entry-level A620 also supports up to DDR5-6800.
Users can search for their motherboard model on MSI’s website to download the latest BIOS.
The price of DDR5 high-frequency memory has dropped significantly from when it was first released, with the flagship DDR5-8000 model 16G*2 set dropping from over $4,000 at its debut to around $3,000.
