Motorola announced the Moto G53 5G and Moto G73 5G, the two phones positioning entry models, together to understand.
Both phones feature a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, both have 5G capabilities, and are pre-installed with Android 13.
Moto G53 5G
The Moto G53 5G starts at 249.99 euros (currently about 1,842 yuan) and features a 6.5-inch 120Hz LCD display with HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720) and a pixel density of 269 ppi. It also has a micro SD card slot and 3.5mm audio jack, offers 64/128GB of storage, and features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.
In terms of core configuration, the Moto G53 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset, which is an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.2GHz. The GPU is Adreno 619 and the memory configuration is 4/6/8GB.
In terms of cameras, the new phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. In terms of battery and charging, the Moto G53 has a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It supports off-screen fingerprint unlocking and face unlocking, available in light pink, ink blue and arctic silver.
Moto G73 5G
The phone starts at 299.99 euros (currently about 2211 yuan) and uses a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of FHD+ (2400 x 1080) and a pixel density of 405 ppi. Equipped with the Dimensity 930 chipset, it provides 6/8GB of memory and 128/256GB of storage. It also provides a microSD slot (supporting cards up to 1TB), stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of cameras, the machine is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, supplemented by an 8-megapixel macro camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Moto G73 5G is available in Midnight Blue and Lucite White and has a water-resistant coating (on both models). The new model will go on sale in Europe in the coming days / weeks, and will also be available in selected markets in Latin America and Asia.
