Motorola has unveiled its third-generation Moto G Stylus 5G phone, one of the first devices to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The device retains the signature stylus located next to the charging port but doesn’t support Bluetooth or pressure-sensitive features like the S Pen in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. there’s a small hole in the screen for the 16-megapixel front-facing camera. This year’s Moto G Stylus adds a 50MP main camera (f / 1.88, 1.0 µm native pixels) at the back, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera that doubles as a macro camera, eliminating the need for a dedicated macro lens.
The phone runs Android 13 with Motorola’s MyUX interface, and Motorola promises one big Android version update and up to three years of security updates for the phone. The phone also comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Other features include stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is available in Cosmic Black and Rose Champagne, with the 6/256GB version priced at $399 in the U.S. market and available at Cricket Wireless starting June 2, with the unlocked version coming June 16 via Motorola, Amazon and the unlocked version will be available on June 16 through Motorola, Amazon and BestBuy.
