According to recent reports, the Motorola Maui is yet another entry-level smartphone that will launch by the end of the year. Already, recent leaks have shown off the possible design and specification of this smartphone. In this article, we will take a look at what we should expect from the coming entry-level smartphone.
From what we understand about this device, Maui is its codename, as the leaks didn’t make available the series it will launch into. But, judging from the specifications the leak made available, we can expect this device will launch under the Motorola E-series or G-series. The tipster who made the specifications known didn’t mention the screen size, but claims that this device will use an HD+ display. For its processing power, it will rely on the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, the RAM on this smartphone will be worth 3GB. Other possible specifications of this device are its 16MP main camera and the 6=5MP front-facing camera.
When it comes to the design, this smartphone will launch with a triple rear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor which will sit on the back panel. The selfie camera will find its place in the centre cutout on the HD+ screen cutout, we can expect the Motorola Maui to use a plastic build. For its pricing, this device will retail in the entry-level market hence appealing to those looking to purchase an affordable device.
