Motorola Edge X30 Pro spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1

Motorola has officially announced the launch date of Motorola Edge X30 Pro and Motorola Razr 2022 smartphones. Both smartphones will launch in China on August 2nd, 2022. The Edge X30 Pro will be the flagship device from Motorola’s house. The smartphone has now been listed on Geekbench certification with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset.

Motorola Edge X30 listed on Geekbench

An upcoming Motorola device with the model number XT2241-1 has been listed on the Geekbench certification. The device is no other than the forthcoming Moto Edge X30 Pro. The Geekbench also reveals the mighty scores achieved by the device. It has got a single-core score of 1252 and a multi-core score of 3972. The test was performed on the latest Geekbench 5.4.1.

The certification further reveals that the test was performed on the device running Android 12 OS and 12GB of RAM. This confirms that there will be at least one variant with a 12GB of RAM option. As per the CPU information shared by the certification, it is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and this shouldn’t be surprising as it’s going to be a flagship device.

Moto Edge X30 Pro specifications (rumoured)

The device will feature a 6.73-inches POLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz high refresh rate. The display will be cured from the edges and will have a centre-aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It has been reported that the smartphone will be the first in the world to have a 200-megapixel primary camera sensor, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. There should be a 60-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. With support for 125W fast charging, the battery capacity could be 4500mAh.
