Motorola has recently launched the Moto Edge 30 Ultra smartphone in the market. It was launched as the world’s first smartphone with 200-megapixel primary camera. Anyway, going back to the main headline, the brand is all set to launch the Moto X40 smartphone as the latest addition to the series. Now, we have a fresh leak on the upcoming device.
Moto X40 specifications and features (rumours)
Motorola is expected to introduce the Moto X40 in China in the upcoming months, shortly after chipmaker Qualcomm introduces its next-generation flagship chip, according to a report citing renowned China-based tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The latter is expected to occur in November of this year when Qualcomm has hinted that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will be unveiled.
The Moto X40 is anticipated to have a FullHD+ display, a 50MP primary camera, a high refresh rate, and 68W fast charging, according to the rumour. This could be the phone’s entry-level model, with other varieties like an “Ultra” model following at a later time. The phone might be introduced as the Moto Edge 40 Pro globally, similar to how the X30 series was introduced.

As a result, the Moto X40 might be among the first devices in the world to use the new Qualcomm flagship chip. The iQOO 11, the OnePlus 11 Pro, and even Samsung’s future Galaxy S23 series are all anticipated to use this technology and be on sale in the first quarter of 2023, so it isn’t the only one at the moment.
