Moto X40 is expected to launch in November or December this year in China. Recently, the device was spotted with its model number XT2301-5 in the database of the 3C certification platform. It has now also received approval from the TENAA regulator body. While TENAA listings usually reveal all the major specifications of the device, the XT2301-5 TENAA listing only has its images.
The Moto X40 TENAA images show that it has a curved edge display on the front, which seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The punch-hole for the selfie camera can be seen at the top-centre position on the screen.
The back panel of the device has a matte finish. Instead of glass, it looks more like a leather back. The square-shaped camera module located on the rear shell has a triple camera unit and an LED flash. The right edge of the phone features the volume up and down buttons as well as a power button.
Moto X40 specifications (rumored)
According to reports, the Moto X40 will feature an OLED panel that will offer a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will power the device. It is expected to arrive with 8GB / 12GB of RAM.
The Moto X40 will feature a 60-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device will feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The exact battery size of the device is not known yet. However, it is expected to support 68W fast charging. It is likely to come preloaded with the Android 13 OS.
