Motorola is gearing up to launch its all-new Moto G72 smartphone in India. The smartphone will offer many exciting specifications, such as a 10-bit OLED panel, a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, and an upgraded under-display fingerprint scanner. The launch date of the device has been officially announced now.
MediaTek Helio G99 powered Moto G72 launching on October 3
On October 3 in India, Motorola is expected to release the Moto G72. The Flipkart store will be the official retailer of the device. Additionally, the microsite has gone live and provides additional information about the phone.
The Motorola Moto G72’s display will have a pOLED screen with a 10-bit colour depth and a billion colours support. The device’s display will have a punch hole with small bezels around the screen. For those who are unfamiliar, the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC is an octa-core chipset built using the 6nm fabrication process, and it will power the smartphone from the inside out.
The chip will be offered with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and it is marginally faster than the Helio G96 SoC. Although the storage type is unknown, the brand has confirmed that the RAM is an LPDDR4X RAM. Additionally, a 120Hz refresh rate will be supported, and a Full-HD+ resolution is predicted. A 576Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10, and DCI-P3 colour gamut will all be present. With a peak brightness of 1300 nits, it won’t have any trouble being seen outside.

It will have a battery capacity of 5,000mAh and support 33W fast charging. It will include a stereo speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos. Additionally, the Lenovo ThinkShield will be included.
