Motorola just announced the launch of Moto G42 and Moto G62 5G for the Brazilian market. It is yet to see if Motorola is going to launch these devices on global markets, the company hasn’t made any comments on it yet.
Moto G42 specifications and features
The Moto G42 is getting a 6.4” g-OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (1080*2400). The screen also has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
Moto G42 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is also paired with 4GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a MicroSD slot for storage expansion.
Moto G42 is carrying a triple camera module at the back. There is a 50MP main camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera with a viewing angle of 118-degree and a 2MP macro lens. There’s also a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will be running on Android 12 out of the box. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery that is equipped with 20W TurboPower fast charging. Additionally, Moto G42 is equipped with face unlock and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
Moto G62 5G specifications and features
The Moto G62 5G is featuring a 6.5” IPS panel. The screen has an HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also sporting a punch-hole design.
In terms of processing powers, G62 is not featuring a high-end processor. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 480 plus chipset that is paired with 4GB of memory. The device is also offering 128GB of internal storage and a dedicated slot for a MicroSD card.
At the rear, Moto G62 5G is carrying a triple camera module. The camera system is led by the 50MP main camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera with a viewing angle of 118-degree and a 2MP macro lens. There’s also a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
In the software segment, Moto G62 5G is coming with Android 12 out of the box and it also seems to have MyuX. It is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with the support of 20W TurboPower fast charging.
Moto G42 and G62 5G price and availability
Motorola is yet to confirm the price of the Moto G42 and Moto G62 5G. Moto G42 will be available in two colors; Blue and Rose. Moto G62 5G will also be coming in two colors; Graphite and Green.
Devices are confirmed to be available for the Brazilian market soon. They will likely be launched on global markets but Motorola is yet to announce the date.
