Behind the surge in motorcycle sales is a frenzy of young people learning to drive motorcycles. In the first half of this year, the number of people taking the motorcycle driving test in Beijing accounted for nearly half of the total number of driving tests. And the number of female students has risen significantly, with some driving schools having a ratio of about half each of boys and girls learning motorcycles.
According to CCTV, according to the enrollment statistics of Beijing’s driver training institutions, the number of motorcycle applicants in Beijing in the first half of 2022 was 12,028, accounting for about 45% of the total number of driving tests.
In this regard, China Automobile Dealers Association Motorcycle Branch Secretary General Song Tao said, large displacement motorcycle sales accounted for only 3%-5% of the overall motorcycle market, there is still huge potential for development, which brings motorcycle culture, peripheral, motorcycle economy, will become another new consumer trend.
