German technology media WinFuture shared more renderings of the Fairphone 5 phone and shared more specifications of the phone.
It was previously reported that the Fairphone 5 phone has appeared in the GeekBench running score library. Its running score page shows that the machine is equipped with 8GB of memory, runs an Android 13 system, and ARMv8 processor. Its specifications are as follows:
1 core clocked at 2.71GHz
3 cores clocked at 2.4GHz
4 cores clocked at 1.96GHz
Although the media previously judged from the running score information that the processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor, WinFuture explained that it is actually a Qualcomm QCM6490 chip, which is a chip specially designed for industrial and embedded devices.
The media stated that the reason why the official chose this embedded processor is to provide long-term support, and the official hopes to provide at least 7 years of security support.
