Recently, at the 2024 Tokyo Modification Show, Suzuki SUPER CARRY MOUNTAIN TRAIL made its debut. This is a model modified based on the SUPER CARRY micro truck. It is specially built for off-road conditions such as mountain roads. It reminds us of those modified sports trucks used in the Dakar Rally.
In terms of appearance, the new car has been transformed into a full-fledged sports racing car. Its body has been blackened in all directions, including a blackened grille and blackened headlights. The entire body and cockpit have been re-fixed by a thick anti-roll frame, adding It improves the structural strength of the original car body and avoids vehicle distortion and deformation when going off-road on mountain roads. The front fender of the vehicle has been improved, and a tow hook, an electric winch, top high-intensity spotlights and a luggage rack have been added.
On the side of the vehicle, the doors have been replaced with a new frame, which enhances the anti-collision strength, and the semi-enclosed state adds a certain degree of fun. The chassis guard has also been optimized to prevent scratches on the vehicle chassis, and the wheel arches have also been optimized. The tires were also replaced with new off-road tires. The rear bucket of the vehicle is also equipped with a roll cage, which looks stronger, and a spare tire and reserve fuel tank are added to the rear.
Not only the appearance, but also the interior has been improved, including black and yellow color matching, entry pedals and gearbox gears, a new passenger armrest and a water cup for long-distance travel. The new car also adds a compass and a large central control screen, which can display vehicle status and navigation information. The new car is also equipped with brand new racing bucket seats and has a five-point safety belt.
In terms of power, the official has not announced it. For reference, the SUPER CARRY is equipped with a 0.66L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 37 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 59 N·m. It is matched with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
