MinisForum’s new UM780/790 Pro-mini-hosts are expected to be equipped with R7 7840HS and R9 7940HS processors.

According to the latest official preview poster, the series of mini-hosts have upgraded cooling and support dual M.2 SSD group RAID0 and RAID1.

As shown in the picture above, the series features a new cooling structure to cool down the memory / hard drive.

Two 2280-size M.2 SSDs can be installed inside the mini-host, which can be grouped into RAID0 for speed and RAID1 for security.

As for the interfaces, the series mini-hosts have two USB-C ports on the front and two HDMI, one wired network port and four USB-A ports on the rear. At the moment, Minfan has not yet announced the release date of this series of mini-hosts.
The R7 7840HS and R9 7940HS processor parameters as follows:

  • R7 7840HS: 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.1GHz; 12CU cores, up to 2.7GHz
  • R9 7940HS: 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.2GHz; 12CU cores, up to 2.8GHz
