According to reports from foreign automotive media carsscoops, the MINI car brand is advancing the process of electrification, and its racing brand JOHN COOPER WORKS (JCW) will also launch an electric version.
According to the road test photos exposed by the media, the 2025 electric version of the MINI JCW car uses a new bumper and sports air intake, with a split design and a horizontal bar, which looks more aggressive overall.
The side profile is basically the same as that of the normal version, except that the double five-spoke wheels are replaced, and a sloping roof is added. It is expected to adopt a two-tone color contrast design.
Note: The new MINI pure electric interior will continue to use the iconic circular OLED central control screen, equipped with a 9.4-inch (240mm) screen, with a borderless design, running the Android-based MINI Operating System 9 car machine system.
At present, there is no relevant information about the power of the new car. It was previously revealed that the new MINI COOPER SE motor has a maximum power of 218 horsepower. It is expected that the JCW version will further improve performance, and its cruising range is expected to be 300-400km.
It is reported that the new MINI pure electric is expected to debut at the Munich Auto Show in September this year, and then it will be domestically produced in November and is scheduled to be launched in 2024, while the high-performance JCW version is expected to spread later.
