Ming-Chi Kuo issued an analysis briefing today, believing that demand for Huawei’s Mate 60 Pro models is higher than expected, and raised the shipment volume in the second half of this year to 6 million units, an increase of 20%.

Ming-Chi Kuo’s text message: Huawei Mate 60 Pro uses a 12-layer anylayer HDI motherboard. Due to Huatong’s better yield rate, the proportion of shipments has reached 50-60%, further widening the gap with the second supplier Founder.
Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Huatong will become the largest motherboard supplier for Huawei’s high-end P and Mate series next year, and the annual growth rate of contribution from Huawei’s high-end mobile phones is estimated to be 150-200% in 2024.
Huatong is expected to enter the AI server market starting in 2024 and become the company’s long-term growth driver. If the verification goes smoothly, Amazon/AWS will be one of Huatong’s key AI server customers in 2024.
