Microsoft for Beta channel released Windows 11 Insider preview version update, version numbers 22621.2265 and 22631.2265. (22631 version, the new features for the default on state; 22621 is the default off state)

[Emoticons]

With the update of the color font format to COLRv1, Windows is now able to display richer emoji with a 3D-like appearance, and support for some apps and browsers is coming soon. These emoji use gradients to bring the design style that customers have been asking for. The new emoji will bring more expression to user communication.

The new Settings homepage, which was introduced at the start of last week’s Beta Channel beta, is now available to all Windows Preview Experience members in the Beta Channel.

[General]
- Fixed an issue that caused explorer.exe to crash on the login screen when users tried to enter Safe Mode.
[Taskbar and System Tray]
- Fixed an issue that caused applications in the taskbar to be displayed incorrectly with no rounded corners at the end when the user had a large number of application windows open and the taskbar was set to unmerged.
- Fixed explorer.exee crash affecting the incorrect display of device power in the taskbar.
[File Explorer]
- Fixed a number of crashes that affected the reliability of File Explorer startup.
- Improved File Explorer startup performance.
- Fixed an issue where icons on the desktop could all become blank.
- Fixed an issue where using the “Reset Folder” button in Folder Options could cause Explorer.exe to crash.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to copy and paste files from a zipped folder into a OneDrive folder could fail and display an error code.
- Fixed an issue that caused File Explorer to crash when navigating to a library if there were a large number of images.
- Fixes an issue where saving a file to a OneDrive location in File Explorer could take a long time.
- Fixed an issue where the “Auto-Type Search Box” did not work when File Explorer opened the home page.
- Fixed an issue where the address bar in File Explorer pointed to the wrong location if the display language was set to Arabic or Hebrew.
[Settings]
- Fixed an issue that caused some tabs to be missing from different locations in Settings in past versions.
- Did some work to help improve performance when opening Preview Experience Member Settings using the new homepage.
[Dev Drive]
- Fixed an issue where developer cloud drives may not automatically mount after upgrading to a new version, causing apps that try to access them to fail to run.
- Improved the error message when a Dev Drive cannot be formatted.
[Task Manager]
- Fixed an issue where views would still be filtered if the user performed a search and then cleared it.
- Fixed an issue that caused occasional crashes when using the Task Manager, including when ending tasks.
- Fixes an issue where the search icon could overlap with the Task Manager text in the title bar.
- Fixes an issue that prevented moving the Task Manager window with a touch or pen.
