Microsoft’s new Win11 email app One Outlook is testing multi-account functionality

0

Microsoft began inviting Current Channel (Preview) channel Office Insider users to test the new Outlook for Windows application in late September this year. The application is initially available only for corporate / school Microsoft accounts, and subsequently added support for personal accounts.

Citing foreign technology media OnMSFT reports that Microsoft has invited users to test the multi-account feature, which allows users to add both personal Microsoft accounts and corporate/school Microsoft 365 accounts. In the future, the new version of Outlook for Windows will support the import of third-party emails.

OnMSFT editor-in-chief Kip Kniskern has tested the feature online and successfully added personal Microsoft accounts and two Microsoft 365 accounts linked to the old Outlook.

Only the current multi-account feature is not perfect, the second Microsoft 365 account can not pass two-factor authentication.
