Microsoft’s Bing ChatGPT chat limit expanded to 150 chats per day

Microsoft is gradually loosening the limit on the number of chat sessions for its New Bing chatbot.

Today, Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s vice president and chief marketing officer for consumers, said that the daily chat limit has been expanded from 120 to 150 sessions. He added that the limit of rounds per session has also been changed from 10 to 15.

In addition, Mehdi said the Bing team is tweaking “Balanced Mode” to improve performance and speed up response times, while Precise & Creative Mode remains the same and will continue to provide users with a diverse experience.

"What is the new Bing?

The new Bing is like having a research assistant, personal planner and creative partner by your side when you search online. With this set of AI-powered features, you can:

Ask your real questions. When you ask complex questions, Bing provides detailed responses.

Get real-world answers. Bing finds search results online and provides you with aggregated answers.

Get creative. When you need inspiration, Bing can help you write poems, and stories, and even share ideas about your projects.

In the chat experience, you can also chat and ask follow-up questions, such as, "Can you explain in simpler terms" or "Give me more options" to get different or even more detailed answers in your search.
"How is it different from regular search engines?

The new Bing builds on the existing Bing experience to provide you with a new type of search.

In addition to generating a list of relevant links, Bing integrates reliable web sources to provide you with an aggregated answer.

Search the way you speak, write and think. Bing accepts compound searches and shares detailed responses.

In a chat experience, you can chat naturally and ask follow-up questions on top of the initial search to get personalized responses.

Bing can be used as a creative tool. It can help you write poems, and stories and even share ideas about your projects.
"How do I access the new Bing?

You can request access by selecting "Join Waitlist". When you're selected, you'll receive an email telling you that you can access the new Bing at Bing.com, and then you can start typing in the common search box. The new Bing can also be found in the chat experience, at the top of the search results."
