Microsoft’s Bing chat improves mathematical formula display: easier to read

Microsoft Bing Chat is constantly adding new features and improvements, most of which will not be announced until it goes online to all users. However, Mikhail Parakhin, head of Microsoft’s advertising and web services division, showed off a small but interesting improvement on Twitter.

Parakhin showed off Bing Chat’s new format for displaying math solutions, which is better looking and easier to read. The new format is currently being tested by 10 percent of Bing Chat users, but it will roll out to others soon, he said.

Microsoft recently increased the daily chat limit to 200 and the per-session chat limit to 20. The most requested addition to Bing Chat by users is the ability to save historical chat sessions, and while there have been some reports that this feature has been added, Michael Schechter, vice president of Microsoft’s Bing growth and distribution team, replied on Twitter: “Not yet.”
