According to the Xbox website support page, Microsoft will remove a number of games from the Xbox 360 online store on February 7, players will not be able to buy these games after that date.
However, if players have already bought these games, they can still download the games after February 7. The games mentioned above will still be available for purchase on Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S stores if they are on sale on those platforms.
A limited set of games, add-on content and in-game content will no longer be available for purchase in select markets through the Xbox 360 Store,” a Microsoft spokesperson said, “These games will be limited to no longer being available for purchase through the Xbox 360 Store, but through Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S stores will remain available for purchase. If they are backward compatible games, you can still play or play previously downloaded games on Xbox 360 and modern consoles via disc.”
The games that have been taken off the shelves are 46 in total and include some well-known titles such as CS: GO, Path of Survival 1 and 2, Cave Quest and Half-Life 2 Orange Box Edition.
