Microsoft today pushed Build 23555 update to Windows 11 Dev preview users, which brought a number of bug fixes. The update content as follows:
Copilot AI Assistant
Fixed an issue that caused explorer.exe to crash when trying to open Copilot from the taskbar.
Narrator
Fixed an issue that prevented users from previewing Narrator natural sounds in Settings.
Fixed an issue that caused Narrator to not correctly read timestamps on Start Menu recommendations.
Task Manager
Fixed an issue that caused Task Manager to crash when changing Bring to Top mode.
Known issues
Start Menu
Some apps under "All Apps" on the Start menu, such as PWA apps installed through Microsoft Edge, may be incorrectly marked as system components.
Copilot AI Assistant
The new Copilot icon is currently not shown in Dev channel builds and will be updated in an upcoming release.
Users have reported that Windows Copilot preview is not available in some regions. Microsoft has identified an issue and plans to re-enable the feature for these users and fix it in a future release.
Users can exit Windows Copilot using Alt + Tab, but cannot return. Windows + C will move focus back to Windows Copilot.
After first launching or refreshing Copilot using voice access, users need to use the "Show grid" command to click on the "Ask me anything" box.
