Microsoft Windows 11 Beta 22621.1245 and 22623.1245 (KB5022358) released: Screenshot tool supports

Microsoft today released Windows 11 Beta Build 22621.1245 and Build 22623.1245 (KB5022358) for the Beta channel. The latest Windows 11 Beta release (KB5022358) fixes ReFS, file copy error bugs, and more.

Microsoft
  • Build 22623.1245 = Introduced new features to enable.
  • Build 22621.1245 = Disable new features by default.

The insiders previously using Build 22622 will be automatically moved to Build 22623 via the enablement package. the enablement package artificially increases the internal version number of the update, rolling out and enabling new features to more easily distinguish it from updated devices that have the feature turned off by default. This method is for Beta channels only and does not indicate any changes or plans for the final feature rollout.

Insiders who have new features turned off by default (Build 22621.xxxx) can check for updates and choose to install the update that will roll out the feature (Build 22623.xxx).

Screen Recording in Screenshot Tool
Microsoft has begun rolling out Screen Recording in the Screenshot Tool to Windows Preview Experience members in the Beta channel (build 11.2212.24.0).
