Microsoft Win11/10 Edge Dev Browser 105 new version released

Microsoft today released an update to the Edge browser for Windows 11, Windows 10, iOS, macOS, Android and other Dev channels, with version upgrade to 105.0.1321.0, which now offers new features, improvements and bug fixes across different platforms.

Added language region information for iOS offline voice.

Added an “x” close button to the sharing pane.

Users will be alerted in notifications when trying to share PDF files larger than 25MB.

Fixed a visual issue with unchecked optional diagnostic boxes on Android.

Completed changes to the digital signature icon on the Microsoft Explorer toolbar.

Fixed reorganizing saved passwords after searching for them on iOS.

Fixed an issue where clicking on a Windows notification from a website would not open that website.

Fixed an issue where reading aloud would not start.

Updated announcement phrase in the message bar after updating cookie settings.

Selecting Customize Toolbar from the toolbar’s context menu will take users directly to the Customize Toolbar section in Settings.

Microsoft is also testing a new command bar for quick access to different tools in Edge, dubbed Command Palette, which is now available for testing in the Canary channel.

According to the release schedule, Microsoft Edge 105 will be moved from the Dev channel to the Beta channel for testing during the week of August 9, 2022. The stable version of Microsoft Edge 105 will be available during the week of September 1, 2022.
