Microsoft Xbox Game Pass allows players to play hundreds of complete games with a one-time paid subscription. However, some games are available for a limited time. After the time is up, they can only purchase the game to continue playing.
Previously, Microsoft would only inform players on its official blog which games were about to leave the subscription library, and the reminder was not very eye-catching. Maybe the game I was playing on the first day was out of the library the next day, and the experience was not very good.
To address this issue, Microsoft is testing a new feature with members of the Xbox Insider program that Xbox players in Beta, Alpha, and Alpha Skip-Ahead previews can now experience:
When launching an Xbox Game Pass game that is leaving the subscription library, players will see a new dialog box that helps explain exactly when the game is leaving and provides an easy path to purchase the game so they can play it while playing Continue playing after leaving the library.
The system update version number for Beta and Alpha preview versions is 2310.230924-2200, and the version number for Alpha Skip-Ahead preview version is 2408.230925-2000. If your friends did not participate in the preview update, you can wait for the subsequent official version system update to be pushed.
