A few days ago, it was reported that Microsoft Surface Pro 9 will provide both Intel and ARM versions, and the Surface Pro X series has been merged. Now, the whistleblower rquandt claims that Microsoft will also release the Surface Laptop 5 at the same time, which is the same as the previous generation, still equipped with 13- and 15-inch screens.
Last year Microsoft launched Surface Laptop 4, with the same appearance as its predecessor, equipped with 11th generation Cool and Rex 4000 Surface Edition series processors. As for the screen, Surface Laptop 4 13.5-inch screen resolution 2256 x 1504, 15-inch resolution 2496 x 1664.
The Surface Laptop 5 is expected to be powered by the 12th generation Core and the Rex 6000 Surface Edition. Intel’s 12th generation Core introduces a large and small core design for greater multi-threaded performance, while the Rex 6000 version comes with double the performance of core graphics for greater graphics and gaming performance.
Microsoft’s annual Ignite conference will be held offline from October 12 to 14.
