After the first reminder in June, Microsoft recently issued another reminder to Win8.1 users, urging them to upgrade to the Win10/11 system as soon as possible. Obviously, Microsoft prefers users to “one step” and directly skip Win10 to upgrade to Win11.

We recommend upgrading to a version of Windows that is still supported. A new device that can run Windows 11 will make the transition easy and give you a great experience."
As the Win8.1 system is about to withdraw from the stage of history, Microsoft is pushing more devices to upgrade to the Win11 system. The Win11 system has higher threshold restrictions on TPM, processor, etc., so Microsoft is also recommending you to upgrade your device in disguise.
