Microsoft released a blog post today, saying that it invited members of the Microsoft 365 Insider project to test some new functions and features of macOS, iOS and Android platform applications.
Auto Crop
Microsoft invited members of the Microsoft 365 Insider program for macOS and iOS platforms to test the automatic cropping feature in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications.
Microsoft said that “crop” is one of the common image operations, but manual cropping was required before.
Microsoft says users can use the newly introduced auto-crop feature to help you identify the most important part of a picture and crop the rest with just one click.
Note: This cropping function does not support SVG and PDF files. On the Mac platform, Version 16.76 (Build 23062703) and later is required; on the iOS platform, Version 2.76 (Build 23062804) and later is required.
Merge PDF files
Android Microsoft 365 Insider members with a paid subscription can merge PDF files.
All the user has to do is go to the “Choose Files” page and select the PDFs to merge; they can then click the “Next” button and finally click the “Merge PDF” button, the user can also click “Next” button before selecting the merge order of the PDFs.
