Microsoft recently pushed the July 2023 firmware update for its Surface Book 3 and Surface Laptop 4 laptops. The main highlight of this update is to fix the audio problem of the speakers.
The Surface Book 3 is a laptop with a detachable screen released by Microsoft in May 2020, available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Surface Laptop 4 is a traditional notebook computer released by Microsoft in April 2021. It is also available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, of which the 15-inch version also has an AMD processor version.
This update includes the following for both Surface Book 3 and Surface Laptop 4:
Addressed potential security vulnerabilities and improved system stability.

In addition, this update brings multiple driver updates for both devices, including software components, system devices, media devices, and more from companies such as Dolby, Intel, and Realtek.
It is noticed that this update supports Windows 10 version 20H2 and later, and Windows 11 version 21H2 and later. Users can download and install this update through Windows Update or Microsoft’s official website. Microsoft recommends that users restart their devices after the installation is complete to complete the remaining installation steps.
