Microsoft has released the September 2022 firmware update for the Surface Book 3, available for all 13-inch and 15-inch versions, with the following updates.
- Addresses critical security vulnerabilities and improves system stability.
- Improves device thermal management.
Microsoft will continue to support the Surface Book 3 until May 2024. It’s worth noting that Windows updates and firmware updates are two different things, so the Surface Book 3 will likely continue to receive OS updates and patches beyond May 2024.
