Microsoft statement: always strictly protect and defend user privacy

Microsoft China today issued a statement, in response to some domestic self-media spread a few days ago about the misunderstanding of individual users of Microsoft consumer products and services, and the relevant instructions.

Microsoft said:

Microsoft is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its customers, and in keeping with the principles of lawfulness, compliance, openness and transparency, we provide detailed information and specifications in the Microsoft Privacy Statement regarding the types of data collected from individual users, how that data is used and the procedures followed to process it. Microsoft helps users strengthen their control over their data while ensuring that every user of our products and services has a choice about privacy and defending their privacy choices."
