Microsoft shuts down SwiftKey support forum after introducing the Bing Chat

Microsoft introduced Bing Chat for the SwiftKey input method and netizens have discovered that Microsoft has closed its SwiftKey support forum. As of this writing, the forum is still inaccessible.

Microsoft released the SwiftKey 3.0.1 update for iPhone and Android phones in mid-April, inviting more users to experience the Bing Chat feature.

This 3.0.1 release integrates three main features: Chat, Search and Tone:

  • Chat: interact with Bing mainly in the form of chat.
  • Search: Quickly search the web through the input method application without switching applications.
  • Tone: Use AI to customize your messages to communicate more effectively.

Foreign media and netizens are not immune to speculation that the SwiftKey input method, which introduces Bing chat, has a large number of poor user reviews, and Microsoft has chosen to close the forum to reduce the negative impact. However, Microsoft has not officially responded to this matter.
