Microsoft today released the Microsoft 365 Version 2308 stable version update, the version number is Build 16731.20170, which mainly upgrades tools such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.

One of the most noteworthy improvements is Excel. After months of rigorous testing by inviting Beta users, the enhanced Data Validation drop-down list auto-complete function is officially launched.
When enabled by the user, Excel automatically compares the text typed in a cell to everything in the list and displays only those that match.
The AutoComplete algorithm can match text content anywhere in a cell, so users don’t need to enter a complete keyword to see relevant content in the drop-down list. The algorithm also automatically excludes blank items from the validation list, so you don’t have to worry about accidental selections of blank item.
Microsoft 365 Version 2308 is now available on all platforms.
