Microsoft pops up Windows 11 upgrade full-screen window to bombard Windows 10 users

According to Windows Latest, Windows 10 is getting closer to the end of support and Microsoft wants everyone to start using Windows 11 as soon as possible. after the Windows 10 system’s May 2023 cumulative update, more and more users are finding that they are seeing full-screen pop-up ads asking to upgrade to the latest Windows 11 operating system.

Microsoft is getting more aggressive with its Windows 11 push, which may be related to the fact that the Windows 10 21H2 life cycle will end.

As part of the campaign, Microsoft has once again started showing “ads” for Windows 11 on Windows 10. The ad that pops up when users turn on their computers and covers the full-screen claims that the Windows 11 free upgrade offer is now unlocked for devices that can get it now.

When users decline or try to avoid the Windows 11 upgrade offer, they will see a page outlining the benefits of upgrading to Windows 11, including a more user-friendly interface, enhanced security features, improved performance, and greater productivity. Microsoft also highlights the gaming experience on Windows 11, claiming to offer the widest range of games and realistic graphics features.

The ad emphasizes that Windows 11 brings a new look and feel with more efficient navigation and the ability to get more work done quickly. Users who choose to stay with Windows 10 can still upgrade to Windows 11 for free at any time through the Windows Update page in Settings.

Full-screen ads appear as part of Microsoft’s strategy to promote Windows 11, presenting it as a seamless and easy-to-access upgrade option for existing Windows 10 users.

If users want to reject the aggressive ads, they must find and click on the “Keep Windows 10” link at the bottom of the screen.
