Microsoft announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot in March this year, introducing AI features/functionality for Word, PowerPoint and Excel to significantly improve user productivity. Today, Microsoft again announced the integration of Copilot features for OneNote, a note-taking app that helps users draft plans, create lists and more with AI.
Some examples of use provided by Microsoft:
- Create a plan for my daughter’s high school graduation party.
- Create a new page and summarize the main points of this note.
- Update the conference content based on the annual investor and generate a list covering important points such as presentation topics, talking points, etc.
- Plan a travel guide to Paris, France for my family.
- I’m opening a wholesale coffee bean and roasting company, give me 10 suggestions for a company name and vision statement
Microsoft 365 Copilot can help users write documents in Word, analyze data or reports in Excel, create presentations in PowerPoint and more.
Microsoft 365 Copilot uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT as its foundation, combined with the power of Large Language Models (LLM) in GPT-4 and data from Microsoft Graph to further improve productivity.
