Microsoft is testing the new version of Skype 8.91: scanning QR code login method

Microsoft has invited Skype Insider program members to test the latest release of Skype Build version 8.91.76.304. This update brings some noteworthy new features for mobile and desktop users.

One of the new features introduced in the new version is to allow users to log in by scanning a QR code. The development team is also testing the “What’s new” link, which will show users all the changes added in the update when they click on it.

Another new feature is clickable, touchable messages. This allows users to open the chat panel in the sidebar and then navigate to the message by clicking on the text on the user’s profile. This feature will be available on all platforms.

In addition to these changes, Skype 8.91.76.304 also fixes some bugs and improves stability.
