In the latest episode of “The XboxEra” podcast, anchor Speshal Nick (Shpeshal Nick) said from internal channels that Microsoft is making and developing a prototype of a new Xbox handle with a touchpad and support for haptic feedback.
Nick said he learned about this information through social media channels, just can not determine whether Microsoft will launch such a game handle, but also not sure of the specific launch time.
Nick also said that the Xbox handle and the previous patent for the Xbox handle with LCD screen are not related in any way. Microsoft may test the two handles for different purposes, and in the patent description, the LCD screen may be used as a second screen for local games and cloud-based games.
