Earlier today, Microsoft released the latest Insider build 25276 on the Windows 11 Dev Channel, and the new version brings a new Task Manager feature, new OneDrive upgrade reminders, and some bug fixes.
As usual, this time Microsoft has also published a list of open issues that are being investigated. While some of the issues are old ones that the company is still investigating, Microsoft has noticed a new issue that shows the company is aware of user reports and issues when it comes to downloading speeds for recent Windows 11 Insider builds.
"[New] Some users are experiencing longer than expected update times when installing recent releases. We are actively investigating this issue."
The changelog describing the issue states.
Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc, who is a senior program manager on the Windows Insider program team and happens to be a very active social networker, said Microsoft is actively looking into the slow upgrade of the Insider build.
In addition to the changes announced in the new development release, Microsoft also hopes to kill off the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) in a few years.
