Microsoft recently announced that it will open the Clipchamp application for Microsoft 365 business users, inviting users to edit videos through the application.
Microsoft acquired Clipchamp in 2021, and then began to gradually integrate it into Microsoft 365. Microsoft was previously only open to Microsoft personal users, and Microsoft said it will invite Microsoft 365 business users to test in the next few weeks.
Clipchamp’s library of image and video effects and filters currently offers 57 filters, including nine listed as premium filters including Warm Country, Dreamland, Soft Black & White, Winter Sunset, Cool Tones, and Sunrise.
Clipchamp is an online video editing tool developed by Australian company Clipchamp Pty Ltd. It is a non-linear editing software that allows users to import, edit and export audiovisual material within an Internet browser window.
Microsoft officially defines it as a “smart tool that helps you create content”, and the official introduction highlights as follows:
Automatically generate subtitles
Automatically generate highly accurate subtitles in 140 languages. Our speech-to-text technology accurately transcribes a video’s audio and converts it into readable subtitles in minutes.
Text to speech

Change video aspect ratio to suit any platform. Add background color and blur effects to fill the gaps around the video, or crop footage to fill the entire screen.
Become a more confident communicator with speaker coaching in our webcam recording tool. Note your speaking rate, pitch, and filler words, and learn how to improve your communication skills, build confidence, and engage your audience.
