If you are currently a member of the Office Insider community and are in the Current Channel (Preview), you will be able to access the new Outlook client for Windows starting today. Windows Insiders can switch to the new version within the next few weeks via a switch in the Windows Mail app.
If you are currently in the Office Insider program and are in Beta Channel or Current Channel, you can switch to the new version by tapping the “Try the New Outlook” switch in the upper right corner. At this stage you can also switch back to the old Outlook by swiping back the toggle switch and restarting the application without losing any data.
So what are the new features in the new Outlook for Windows?
● Support for adding Microsoft accounts
Now you can add your personal Outlook.com, hotmail.com and Windows Live personal email accounts to the new Outlook for Windows.

● Dynamic calendar column widths
You can now adjust the width of the calendar to ensure you can see all the information for the day. You can customize how much space you allocate each day and view your weekly schedule.
● Simplify toolbar options
You can now see a cleaner toolbar that makes it easier to see and access everyday functions.
Tips for Outlook
Now you can use tips to let you know when new features are available and how to take advantage of them right away. You can view tips in the Calendar Board view and be able to plan everything in one place.
These updates are in addition to the previously announced updates. To use the new Outlook for Windows, you must currently have at least Windows 10 Version 1809 (internal version 17763) and a Microsoft Work, School, or Personal account.
These features are being rolled out to Office Preview Experience members running Beta or Current Channel (Preview) version 2209 (internal version 15629.20058) or later versions of Outlook for Windows.
