Earlier this year, the Phone Link application (once called Your Phone) in Windows 11 system has undergone a rebranding, bringing a user interface and interactive experience that fits the style of Windows 11. For many Windows users, especially those with Samsung phones, Phone Link has become a very useful tool.
The Phone Link application allows Samsung phone users to synchronize notifications, SMS, contacts and applications on both PC and Android phones. But for non-Samsung phone users, Phone Link still has a lot of room for improvement.
Microsoft is developing a feature called “Stream audio to your PC” for the Phone Link app, which allows users to hear the audio they share on the PC side of the phone. This feature is also somewhat similar to the Connect feature that Spotify has now launched.
We’ve heard what you want,” Microsoft explained. Now you can visually and audibly experience what’s being shared on your phone to your PC. You can select the device you want to stream audio to in Phone Link settings”.
Users can access this feature in the notification area of the Phone Link app, although at this stage the feature is only available to some users and the feature is not active.
