Microsoft recently issued a press release, said that Win10, Win11 and macOS platform, further enhance the PowerPoint application in the “Cameo” function.
Microsoft’s official introduction to the Cameo function is as follows:
With Cameo, you can directly insert a live camera source into a PowerPoint slide. You can then apply the same effects to the camera source as you would to a picture or other object, including formatting settings, switching effects, and styles.
Microsoft says it has been inviting Microsoft 365 subscribers, since last year, to test the Cameo feature. During that time, Microsoft received a lot of user feedback and suggestions, which were promptly optimized and improved.
In a press release, Microsoft further enhances Cameo features, notably including:
Camera preview and source control: Users can now turn camera preview on or off and change the camera source in slide show view or presenter view mode. This allows better control over when and how Cameo appears in a presentation.
Improve its design and consistency: The Cameo interface has been further optimized to integrate more deeply into PowerPoint presentations, ensuring a consistent theme
Personalize the Cameo style: Users can insert an embossment on one slide, customize its formatting, and then apply the same formatting to all slides with a single click. This ensures that the cameo remains in a consistent style across all slides.
