Microsoft recently for Dev channel users, released the latest 117.0.2024.1 preview version of the Microsoft Edge browser update, in addition to repairing the previous version of the legacy of the BUG, the biggest improvement is the addition of touch mode.
After upgrading to Edge 117, users can open the “Appearance” option in Settings and see the “Touch” area on the right side. When touch mode is enabled, Edge browser will increase the size of buttons, tabs and other browser elements to optimize the touch experience.
Touch Mode currently has 3 options, attached here to introduce the following:
Auto (default): Touch Mode will automatically turn on when Microsoft Edge recognizes that you are using your device as a tablet.
On: Touch mode will always be on.
Off: Touch mode will always be off.
