Microsoft for Edge updated the mouse gesture function, you can hold down the right button and move in a specific direction to perform a variety of tasks, so as to speed up the speed of daily operations, such as opening tabs, reloading the page, starting the InPrivate privacy window, switching between web pages and so on.
With 16 actions supported, Microsoft Edge is very flexible, but the feature is still missing one key option: the ability to disable mouse gestures on certain websites.
The latest Canary version of Microsoft’s Microsoft Edge already allows users to disable mouse gestures on specific sites, but only in the Canary version, @Leopeva64 has discovered.
If you are using the latest version of the Microsoft Edge Canary browser, you can disable mouse gestures on specific websites by performing the following actions:
- Open your browser’s menu and click Settings or type edge://settings.
- Go to Appearance > Mouse Gestures and scroll down to Configure Mouse Gestures.
- Add your desired website address to the Configuration Blocking list and click Save.
- To remove the corresponding website from the added list click on the button with the trachea icon next to it.
