Microsoft Bing Chat to add a smooth scrolling feature as requested by users

Microsoft is expanding the number of people testing its new Bing chat service and is constantly making updates to the chatbot, and a small but important request from one user will be added at some point.

Twitter user “max77sabers” messaged Microsoft’s Mikhail Parakhin and Mike Davidson requesting that “smooth scrolling” be added to Bing Chat. This feature has been supported by most mainstream web browsers, which can make web pages scroll up and down more smoothly without stuttering.

“max77sabers” pointed out in his Twitter thread: When Bing “speaks” and the text goes out of space, the text scrolls, but the scrolling doesn’t animate, which is uncomfortable for the eyes/brain, as it may sound Seems like a small issue, but it’s actually very important!

He quickly got a reply from Parakhin, who said that the “smooth scrolling” feature would be added: “Yes, yes, you are right, we are implementing it. Agreed, this feature should have been there.”

It’s unclear when this feature will be added, but it’s always a good thing that the Microsoft Bing Chat team is open to this kind of feedback.
